Overview of Armored Cadillac Escalade ESV

The Escalade ESV is the long-wheelbase Cadillac Escalade and the version Alpine Armoring sells most. Executives, professional athletes, and families choose it for the room: the extended body keeps cargo space behind the third row with all three rows in use. Alpine Armoring fits the ballistic package inside the original body, so the armored ESV keeps three-row seating without changing the vehicle's proportions.

Alpine Armoring builds the ESV at four protection levels, from Alpine Level A4 (CEN B4) to Alpine Level A12 (B7+). A4 stops handgun rounds up to the .44 Magnum, A9 stops rifle fire up to the 7.62x51mm (.308), AR-15 and AK-47 rounds included, and A12 stops the .50 BMG. Ballistic steel and multi-layer glass protect the cabin, and a full overlap system closes the gaps around the doors and pillars.

An armored Escalade ESV costs $298,000 to $650,000, depending on the protection level and options. A build takes 30 to 45 days up to A9 and 45 to 60 days at A12. Armoring adds 600 to 1,500 pounds or more, so Alpine Armoring upgrades the suspension to carry it. Options include a heavy-duty brake kit, a multi-siren and public address system, anti-sabotage exhaust protection, LED strobe lights, and run-flat inserts.

Frequently Asked Questions

How much does a bulletproof Cadillac Escalade ESV cost?

An armored Cadillac Escalade ESV from Alpine Armoring costs $298,000 to $650,000, depending on the protection level and options. A handgun-rated A4 build sits at the low end and a .50-caliber-rated A12 build at the top. The cost guide breaks prices down by protection level.

Is the 2026 Cadillac Escalade bulletproof?

No. Cadillac builds the 2026 Escalade without armor, and armoring companies such as Alpine Armoring convert it. Alpine Armoring armors the 2026 Escalade ESV at levels A4 through A12. To skip the build, see the Escalade ESVs in stock.

What is the difference between the Escalade ESV and the Escalade?

The ESV is the long-wheelbase version of the Escalade, with more cargo space behind the third row. Alpine Armoring armors both at the same four levels, A4, A6, A9, and A12, so the choice comes down to size. See the armored Cadillac Escalade for the shorter version.

How long does it take to armor an Escalade ESV?

An Escalade ESV build takes 30 to 45 days up to A9 and 45 to 60 days at A12. Buyers outside the United States add shipping: 30 to 90 days by sea or 1 to 3 weeks by air. Buying an ESV from stock skips the build.

Can a civilian buy an armored Cadillac Escalade ESV?

Yes. Civilians in the United States can buy and own armored vehicles with no federal restrictions, and most can drive one on a standard driver's license, though California and some localities require more. Outside the U.S., an ESV up to A9 may ship without a U.S. export license, depending on its weight rating, destination, and end user, while A10 and above always need one.
