Erik Stern

Erik Stern joined Alpine Armoring in 2025 and serves in Business Development, where he guides government agencies, corporate security teams, and private clients through threat assessment, protection level selection, and armored vehicle procurement. He brings a rare advantage to the armoring industry: more than a decade on the ballistics side of the equation. Before joining Alpine Armoring, Erik spent over 14 years in small arms product development with Beretta USA and FN America

At Beretta and FN, Erik managed the development and launch of flagship platforms. He worked directly with law enforcement, the military, and competitive shooters to translate end-user requirements into product specifications, and he served as a subject-matter expert at trade shows and for multiple publications. This firsthand knowledge of weapons platforms, ammunition performance, and terminal ballistics gives Erik a working understanding of the exact threats Alpine Armoring’s vehicles are engineered to defeat, from handgun calibers up to high-powered rifle rounds covered by NIJ, CEN, and VPAM standards.
