• Protection against high power rifles including 7.62 x 39, 5.56 x 45 and 7.62 x 51 rounds (A9/B6+)

OPAQUE

• The entire body is protected using hardened ballistic steel of 6 to 8 mm
• Floor of the vehicle is fitted with blast protection to protect occupants against fragmentation
• Vehicle’s armor plates are stitch-welded using high-intensity MIG welders.
• The body is constructed in such a way as to ensure that a projectile following a linear or angled path shall not enter the vehicle’s interior without contacting the armor material.

GLASS

• Combination of glass & polycarbonate & Mylar are bonded together using the latest technology
• Glass thickness: 40 mm with customized tints per clients’ choice.
• Anti-spall shield protecting against shattering glass
• Multiple impact protection with maximum optical quality
• Special Steel mesh installed on exterior of glass

INTERIOR

• Alpine’s Ballistic steel interior frame provides overlap & backup protection for the large-surface principal impact
• Interior panels & trim is redesigned, modified, reinstalled to obtain as close to an original look as possible.
• Minor interior appearance modifications are implemented to ensure the maximum ballistic coverage

DOORS

• Armor overlap at all doors to prevent penetration through door posts and pillars
• Door pillars reinforced to accommodate the additional weight of the armored door
• Reinforced door hinges to support additional weight of the armor.

CLIMATE CONTROL SYSTEM

• Front cab of vehicle utilizes OEM Ford climate control with A/C and heater.
• Rear area of the vehicle is equipped with a roof mounted independent high output A/C & heater system.
• 2 exhaust fans in the rear compartment area for additional cooling and air flow.

ELECTRICAL

• All Electrical equipment and wiring are designed and modified to protect against the armoring process.
• Additional electric equipment installed is individually fused; all wires are loomed and clearly marked
• 7 switched red/white dome lights - 6 mounted in the rear compartment and 1 in the cab.
• Police bar style roof mounted strobe light.
• Public Address system with multi-sound siren

OTHER SECURITY RELATED FEATURES

• 3 ballistic rated viewing glass and gun ports on each side of the rear compartment.
• 2 ballistic rated viewing glass and gun ports on the rear doors.
• Full length grab handle rails and running boards on the sides and rear.
• Low profile steps integrated in the rear bumper for quick entering and exiting from the back.
• Manually operated telescopic floor ramp to access roof mounted escape hatch.
